WCF Bancorp, Inc. is a savings and loan holding company. The Company is engaged in the ownership and operation of WCF Financial Bank (the Bank), which is a community bank. The primary business of the Bank is accepting deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings. Its primary lending activity is the origination of one- to four-family residential real estate loans. It also originates consumer loans and non owner-occupied one- to four-family residential real estate loans, and commercial real estate loans. It invests in investment securities. The deposits are its primary source of funds for its lending activities. Its additional sources of funds are scheduled loan repayments, loan prepayments, retained earnings and the proceeds of loan and securities sales. Its deposit accounts consist of statement savings accounts, money market accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal accounts and certificates of deposits.
