Amateur video shows tear gas and gunfire in Kiswa, Syria. The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters shows citizens under fire amid reports that seven demonstrators were killed Friday. More footage, purportedly from Damascus, shows demonstrators running through the streets, Tens of thousands of demonstrators reportedly took to the streets Friday denouncing efforts by the military to crush a 13 week old rebellion. In Homs, demonstrators chant. They says this is the revolution of the revolutionaries, this is the arab revolution. In other parts of the country demonstrators carry flags. They call for President Bashar al Assad to leave the country. Children take to the streets . They carry signs saying Bashar is not President, and this government does not represent me. Rights groups say more than 1,300 civilians in the three month old Syrian uprising. Most foreign media has been banned from the country making it difficult to verify accounts of activists or the government. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
