Gunfire in southwestern Syria. Moments later a group of men rush out and gather the body of a man they say was killed by government security forces. This video posted on a social networking cannot be independently verified by Reuters. And for the seventeenth consecutive Friday, thousands of Syrians protested in the streets. They are demanding an end to President Bashar al-Assad's 11-year rule. One human rights group estimates that Syrian security forces have killed over 16-hundred people while at least 29-hundred had disappeared since the government launched a crackdown on political dissent.
