Police struggle to position a crowd control barrier in the Ukrainian capital Kiev. They are preparing for the arrival in court of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko - who is charged with corruption. Now a prominent opposition figure, she soon arrives in the back of a police truck - to cheers from supporters. In court, a judge refused to free the 50-year-old Tymoshenko on bail. It was the latest development in a controversial court case that has riveted Ukraine. Scores of people have set up a camp outside the courthouse to support Tymoshenko, who claims the case in politically motivated. (SOUNDBITE) (Ukraine) PROTESTER ANDRIY SAMOMLYIN: "We came here for freedom. Freedom for Yulia! Yulia is our President, do you understand this ?" She was prime minister twice between 2005 and 2010 before narrowly losing the presidency to bitter rival Victor Yanukovich last year. Andrew Raven, Reuters
