For the eighth night in a row, vandals set fire to cars across the German capital. Fire crews were called to burning vehicles in the western district of Charlottenburg as well as in the centre of Berlin early Tuesday morning. Most of the cars had been completely burned out. One local resident has lost her patience with the arsonists. (SOUNDBITE) (German) BERLIN RESIDENT, VERONIKA PRAGEL, SAYING: "I say, they have to finally get hold of them and, I don't know, they should really punish them. They shouldn't be allowed to be happy again in their life." Local police have been trying to hunt down those responsible for over a week - with around 250 officers and even a helicopter with heat sensors at their disposal. The reason for the attacks remains unknown, but Berlin police are not ruling out a political motive. Travis Brecher, Reuters
