Amateur video out of Syria shows demonstrators on the streets of Damascus calling for the end of President Bashar-al Assad's regime. The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters shows demonstrators chanting, saying vertical or horizontal, Bashar will go under" Footage, from Aleppo shows a funeral march for a demonstrator purportedly killed by government security forces. Activists say six more demonstrators were killed friday. Video out of Homs shows a sign calling for the UN to enter syria. On Friday European Union imposed sanctions on Syrian oil exports piling more pressure on the regime. Syria has expelled most foreign media, making it difficult to verify accounts from either activists or the government. One Syrian rights group says nearly 2,000 civilians and 463 government security forces have been killed since protests began in march. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
