A funeral in the restive Syrian city of Douma. And suddenly - chaos. This amateur video shows mourners fleeing what activists called an onslaught by security forces. Reuters cannot independently verify the footage, which was posted to a social media website. But it appears to show security forces opening fire near the crowd. Over the weekend, gun battles and explosions rocked Douma, a centre of the 10-month-old uprising against Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. The town is just 14 kilometres from the capital Damascus and has been the site of a heavy crackdown since unrest began last March. Andrew Raven, Reuters
