ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez stepped off a plane in his home city of Barinas on Thursday (April 05) after a second round of radiation therapy in Cuba for some form of cancer. He was greeted at the airport by his parents, Hugo de lo Reyes Chavez and Elena Frias de Chavez, and said he was recovering well. Little is known about what type of cancer Chavez has or how serious it is. Questions remain about his fitness to campaign for elections due on October 7th. Opinion polls suggest Chavez still has the edge over his top presidential rival in voter enthusiasm although about a third of the electorate is still undecided.
