Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who co-starred in last summer's "Green Lantern" film, married quietly on Sunday (September 9) in South Carolina, People.com reported, sealing their low-profile romance of about a year. Reynolds was previously married to Scarlett Johansson for two years. The couple split in late 2010 and their divorce was finalized in 2011. Prior to that, Reynolds was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette. This is the first marriage for 25-year-old Lively, who most recently starred on-screen in Oliver Stone's "Savages." Sir Paul McCartney was presented France's highest decoration in Paris on Saturday (September 8). President Francois Hollande pinned the Legion of Honour on the former Beatle's jacket who looked quite pleased with this new accolade. McCartney was made an officer of the Legion of Honour, France's highest public distinction which has been awarded to the likes of actor Clint Eastwood and singer Liza Minnelli. Johnny Depp hit the carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival to support Peter Jackson's documentary "West of Memphis," which details evidence that aims to exonerate three men convicted of crimes they did not commit. Depp has established a friendship with some of the key players in the documentary and said he wanted to use his celebrity status to help exonerate them. Walter Koenig became the final "Star Trek" cast member to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is the 2,479 star on the famed boulevard and it is located near Koenig's "Star Trek" castmate George Takei. The ceremony comes two days after the 46th anniversary of the premiere of "Star Trek," which Koenig joined in its second season as Ensign Pavel Chekov, a role he also would play in the first seven "Star Trek" movies.
