Sept. 28 - Residents dig through the rubble in Aleppo, as protesters take to the streets in other parts of Syria. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
A child's body is pulled from the rubble of a building in Aleppo. Amateur video out of Syria, which could not be independently verified by Reuters, shows people digging through the damage of a building a day after rebels launched a "decisive battle" to take control of Syria largest city. The video comes as U.S. authorities say the Syrian government has moved some of their chemical weapons capability to better secure it. In other parts of the country demonstrators continue to take to the streets. They continue to call for an end to President Bashar al-Assad's regime. World powers have watched the carnage in Syria with dismay, but have been unable to agree on a way to resolve the crisis. Neither side appears capable of striking a decisive military blow, in a battle for control that activists say has already left at least 30,000 people dead.
