U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Perth, Western Australia on Tuesday (November 13) for the annual Australia-United States Ministerial meetings set to focus on defence and foreign policies. Clinton will be joined later by U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta for the visit. She was met at the airport by Australia's Defence Minister Stephen Smith and Foreign Minister Bob Carr. She is set to meet Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard Tuesday afternoon to discuss foreign policy including military spending as well as the situation in Afghanistan. Clinton is set to leave Perth and head to Adelaide on Thursday (November 15) before leaving Australia for Singapore on Friday (November 16).
