Dec. 10 - Psy, Diane Ross and others help the first family kick off the holiday season. Alicia Powell reports.
The Obamas kick off the holiday season with some help from some of the world's biggest stars. The first family attended the 31st "Christmas in Washington" holiday concert that benefits the National Children's Medical Center. For this year's show South Korean "Gangnam Style" rapper PSY brought both controversy and a non-traditional performance. Days before the concert, eight-year-old video surfaced of Psy engaging in an anti-American protest. The rapper issued an apology for the "inflammatory and inappropriate language" he said he used in a rap as "part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two Korean schoolgirls." Hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien, the show included performances by Diana Ross and Demi Lovato just to name a few. The concert is scheduled to air on December 21 on the American Cable television station TNT.
