Justin Bieber lashes out at media's ''countless lies'' about him. Kathi Urban reports.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS EDIT CONTAINS EXPLICIT LANGUAGE It's fair to say Justin Bieber hasn't had the easiest of times so far during the leg of his European tour. His London stay was marred by a 2-hour delay to his first show, he collapsed on stage at another one and had a run-in with paparazzi. A concert in Portugal was cancelled altogether. But on Thursday (March 14) the Canadian pop singer hit back at critics. In a posting on his Instagram profile, the 19-year-old singer said contrary to some media speculation, he was not going into rehab, and felt he had done nothing to deserve the negative press surrounding his European tour. Bieber said he was "tired of all the countless lies in the press", adding he was a "good person with a big heart" and has worked very hard to get where he is. The clean-cut Canadian teenager has had a meteoric career since being discovered on YouTube in 2008. And he suggested envy of his success might be at the root of all the recent media jibes. Bieber's next due to play in Barcelona. On Thursday he played to fans in Madrid, apparently without incident.
