The Daily Digit is $13,000. That's how deep consumers will have to dig for the new curved TV from Samsung. The 55-inch screen uses OLED or organic light emitting diode technology. Samsung is hoping thinner, bigger, and of course the new shape - along with enhanced picture quality will revitalize a sluggish TV market. But first Samsung has to work through some production issues that are keeping costs high Other TV manufacturers are making OLED TVs as well, but the screens are not expected to go mainstream for at least another two years.
