July 20 - Amateur video appears to show Syrian rebels advancing on northern army-held town. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
Rebel forces advance on a northern army-held town in Aleppo province. Aleppo has been mired in a bloody stalemate since rebels launched an offensive in the province last year. So far President Bashar al-Assad's push has been dogged by rebel counter-attacks. But a string of government victories elsewhere in Syria has shifted the tide in Assad's favor after more than two years of bloodshed that activists say has cost 100,000 lives..
