Supporters of ousted President Mohamed Mursi prepare for the worst as they continue their sit-in Monday.
Officials have warned that they would move at dawn to disperse the sit ins.
Demonstrators have no plans to quit.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) MURSI-SUPPORTER, AMR SALAMA, SAYING:
"The people here at the sit-in may could face an attack at any moment But the demonstrators have one aim; they came prepared to die in defense of freedom and in defense of the return of legitimacy and in defense and the protection of Egypt from the military and state security."
One security source said action against the protesters had been delayed because larger crowds had arrived at the protest camps after news broke that a crackdown was imminent.
