Europe's largest street party erupts into a full blaze of color in the streets of London. The Notting Hill Carnival started 49 years ago as a small local celebration of Afro-Caribbean communities. Today it's one of the world's largest street parties attracting thousands of visitors who come for their dose of Caribbean flair. SOUNDBITE: Unnamed Carnival Goer, saying (English) "I want my kids to actually feel the carnival spirit because I am from Jamaica as well." SOUNDBITE: Unnamed Carnival Goer, Saying (English) "It's the first time we have ever had jerk chicken as well so it's quite good to have and its like authentic." Be it the tasty flavor of jerk chicken or fried plantains, the three day festival is expected to draw a crowd of one million revelers who'll celebrate London's multicultural diversity.
