Aug. 29 - Google co-founder Sergey Brin and his wife are living apart, with Brin reportedly involved with a Google staffer. Conway G. Gittens reports.
OK, Glass, show me a scandal. Google co-founder Sergey Brin has split from his wife and he's reportedly dating a company employee, who reportedly had a relationship with another Google big shot. If that's all confusing as computer code, here's how it played out: Brin and Anne Wojcicki were married for six years and have two kids. She runs DNA mapping firm 23andMe, which Google has invested about $10 million in. To complicate things further, her sister is a top executive at Google. A Google spokesperson confirms the split, first reported by AllThingsD. Another blog, Valleywag said Brin is hooking up with Amanda Rosenberg, who does marketing for Google Glass. She coined the command to get information from the device: "OK, Glass." She reportedly had been involved with Hugo Barra, an executive in Google's Android division until departing for Xiaomai, the hottest mobile phone maker in China. AllThingsD said he resigned before he was aware of Brin's involvement with Rosenberg. AllThingsD also reporting that Brin and Wojcicki have a prenuptial agreement. Brin is worth about $23 billion.
