Nov. 12 - A new survey finds 38 percent of shoppers are likely to shop on Thanksgiving as more retailers open their doors on the holiday. Bobbi Rebell reports.
Today's Daily Digit is 38 percent. That's the amount of shoppers who say they are likely to shop on Thanksgiving Day this year according to the Accenture Holiday Shopping survey. The list of retailers opening on Thanksgiving day itself has been growing including big names like Wal-Mart, Macy's, K-Mart, Target, Best Buy and more. And they could see a lot of foot traffic. More than a third of those surveyed say they are likely to visit four or more stores. But Thanksgiving shopping is still off limits for a lot of folks. Forty-one percent said discounts or not they will not be shopping on the holiday. Instead it will be a day for spending time with family.
