March 6 - Traffic havoc in Los Angeles after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits California's governor. Gavino Garay reports.
It's almost always rush-hour in LA. But when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes to town -- it's a parking lot. (SOUNDBITE) UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN SAYING: "Well today was pretty crazy." (SOUNDBITE) UNIDENTIFIED MAN SAYING: "Why is he blocking our traffic?" On Wednesday, he met with California Governor Jerry Brown to talk technology. (SOUNDBITE) CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR JERRY BROWN SAYING: "What a wonderful, furthering of the deep connections that Israel has, not just with America, but with California in particular and Silicon Valley is a very good example of that." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (SOUNDBITE) ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU SAYING: "The future belongs to those who innovate. Every place, every area is becoming technologized and digitized. There is not going to be a separation between high technology and low technology." Before visiting LA, Netanyahu was in Washington meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.
