When a popular Florida State law professor was murdered in his Tallahassee home last week, police say it was not a random crime.
Investigators are trying to figure out who targeted Dan Markel. He taught criminal law at FSU.
SOUNDBITE: GARNETT STOKES, FSU INTERIM PRESIDENT, SAYING:
"He was a very well respected faculty member, an engaging professor and the students really learned a great deal from him."
The Toronto native and father of two was found shot in the head Friday morning.
Police have dedicated a tip line specifically for the case.
SOUNDBITE: DAVID NORTHWAY, TALLAHASSEE POLICE, SAYING:
"It's in the investigators best interest so they can access that line quicker."
A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
