ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The parents of 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was shot and killed on Aug. 9 while unarmed by a white police officer, tear up as their remember their son. Michael Brown Sr. said it's hard for him not to hear from his son anymore, and the reality of his loss is setting in. "Not getting a phone call for the last few weeks, so it's kind of coming to a sense of... 'I'm not going to hear that voice again,'" Brown Sr. said. The teenager's mother, Lesley McSpadden, used three words to describe her son: "He was just tall, big, and black" Since the shooting of Brown, protests have turned sometimes violent on the streets of Ferguson. But on Thursday (August 21), the governor of Missouri ordered the withdrawal of National Guard troops from riot-torn Ferguson, where tensions have eased for the time being.
