More outbreaks of Ebola reported in Africa. Julie Noce reports.
West Point Libera- a cordoned off slum on the country's coast battling an Ebola outbreak- is now facing a housing crisis after flooding has left hundreds of people homeless. The area has been quarantined which is hampering efforts to get food and supplies to residents. Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf toured the region Monday. The country is one of many African nations facing an Ebola epidemic- the latest cases have been reported the Democratic Republic of Congo. Officials there are stocking up on protective gear and laser thermometers after two out of eight cases tested came back positive for the virus. Work on finding a cure is on going. Two Americans who've taken the experimental drug Z-Mapp have been released from a hospital in Atlanta, however a Liberian doctor who took the same drug has died. According to the World Health Organization, more than 1400 people have died from the disease
