A motorcycle bombing has killed more than 20 people and injured 11 in Kirkuk, Iraq. Rough Cut (no reporter narration)
Iraqi security officials say at least 22 people were killed and 11 wounded in a motorcycle bombing in central Kirkuk on Friday (September 19). Video released by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty is said to show the moments just after the explosion. An injured man can be seen being carried from the scene and multiple sounds that sound like gun shots can also be heard. Kirkuk is a strategic oil town in northern Iraq currently held by Kurdish forces, although a security vacuum in the area has allowed Islamic State fighters to expand their reach. There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack.
