It was a victorious night for Republicans in key guberatorial races. In the political heavyweight states of Florida, Michigan, and Wisconsin, Republicans prevailed. SOUNDBITE: WISCONSIN GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER, SAYING: "First off, I want thank God. I want to thank god for his abundant grace and mercy which is more than sufficient for each and every one of us." Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a conservative Tea Party favorite considered to be a presidential contender, won re-election. In Florida, Republican Governor Rick Scott defeated former Democratic Governor Charlie Crist. And in Michigan, Republican Governor Rick Snyder prevailed over his Democratic challenger. There were also big upsets in the Democratic strongholds of Massachusetts, Maryland, and President Obama's home state of Illinois. Republicans there won the governor's posts, joining the partisan tide that made it a very good night for Republicans who won back control of the Senate.
