Chaos erupts in a St. Louis suburb after yet another fatal police shooting. Clashes broke out here early Wednesday in Berkeley after authorities say an officer shot a black man. Officials say the officer was investigating a reported theft when he approached 18-year-old Antonio Martin who pulled out a gun, prompting the officer to fire. Martin's mother said her son wasn't doing anything. (SOUNDBITE) (English) TONI MARTIN, VICTIM'S MOTHER, SAYING: "His girlfriend told me that the police were messing with him." The mother also said her son did not have a gun. -- In Bedford, Ohio, a holiday ends in tragedy. A woman called 911 for help after she says her boyfriend came home in a drunken rage. Police say when they arrived 43-year-old John Hebebrand came at them with a knife. After a taser didn't work, they shot him. (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITTANY WILSON, DAUGHTER OF HEBEBRAND'S GIRLFRIEND, SAYING: "At first I heard glass breaking, and then I went back to sleep, and then I heard gunshots. That's when I woke up, and my mother said they shot him. I don't understand why. He was a good guy." Hebebrand died at the hospital. -- Officials in Los Angeles are investigating an argument between two women that led to a violent fight early Friday. Police say the fight escalated. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MEGHAN AGUILAR, LAPD DETECTIVE, SAYING: "One of the females was armed with a bat. She then armed herself with a firearm." It was at the Hollywood & Highland Center, where police say once 47-year-old Diamond Vargas pulled out that firearm, they shot her in the leg. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in stable condition.
