ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION) Whilst the 2015 BRIT Awards are still a month away, one winner of Britain's biggest music prize has already been decided. Singer-sonwriter James Bay from Hitchin in Hertfordshire was on Thursday (January 15) presented with the Critics' Choice Award, following in the footsteps of previous winners Emeli Sande and Sam Smith. Prior to his Critics' Choice success Bay has also enjoyed mainstream exposure at various music festivals. In 2013 he was a supporting act for The Rolling Stones Hyde Park concerts. Another performance highlight for Bay came from the world of fashion. In September 2014 he live performed his track "When We Were On Fire" during the catwalk show of British fashion label Burberry's 2015 Women's Spring Summer presentation. Bay is continuing to tour through Europe in the coming months. Most of his UK shows are already sold out. Overseas dates include gigs in Sydney and Melbourne in early February and in New York on March 16. His debut album "Chaos and the Calm" is scheduled for release on March 23, 2015.
