Joel and Ethan Coen are named joint heads of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival jury. Rollo Ross reports.
Film director brothers Joel and Ethan Coen were announced on January 20 to be the first people ever to jointly share the presidency over the jury at the Cannes film festival. They will be heading a team of as yet unannounced film stars and filmmakers to decide which of the competition entries at Cannes will be given the Palme D'Or. The directors have already had experience with that having won that prize as well as the Best Director gong in 1991 with 'Barton Fink'. They have since then won three prizes in Cannes' main competition - most recently winning the Grand Jury Prize for 'Inside Llewyn Davis'. The 68th edition of the Cannes film festival will run from May 13th to the 25th.
