Boeing's commercial 747-8 has been chosen to replace Air Force One.
That's according to two sources familiar with the decision, who say an official announcement is expected Wednesday.
The current fleet of the Air Force One presidential aircraft will reportedly switch from Boeing 747-200B to the newer model.
The decision comes a month after Boeing said it would slow production of the 747-8 aircraft from 1.5 a month to 1.3 a month.
