Amy Pascal will step down as co-chairman of Sony Pictures after a cyber attack upheaval exposed embarrassing emails between Pascal and other Hollywood figures. Linda So reports.
Amy Pascal, one of the most power women executives in Hollywood, is stepping down as co-chairman of Sony Pictures. The move comes after hackers leaked a chain of embarrassing emails between Pascal and other Hollywood figures. Those emails were made public by hackers angry about "The Interview"... a movie mocking North Korea's dictator. In one of the emails, Pascal made racially insensitive remarks about President Obama's taste in films. She later apologized. The company says Pascal will step down from her post in May to launch her own production venture at the studio. Her replacement has not been named.
