Now we are going wherever the road takes us." On Wednesday, leaders of France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine begin peace talks in the Belarussian capital Minsk. The West has accused Russia of supplying pro-Moscow separatists with men and weapons -- a charge Russia denies. As Washington debates whether to arm Ukrainian troops, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are hoping their joint proposal can finally halt the fighting... ...in a conflict that has already killed more than 5,000 people.
