An estimated one thousand Kenyan university students took to the streets of Nairobi on Tuesday (April 7) to show solidarity with those killed in last week's university massacre and to call for better security.
The protesting students chanted slogans and waved placards as they marched through the Kenyan capital before handing in a list of their demands to the president's office.
Almost 150 people were killed last Thursday when al Shabaab gunmen stormed the Garissa University College campus, some 200 km (120 miles) from the Somali border.
