ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION Hours ahead of this year's Bahrain Grand Prix, hundreds of anti-government protesters rallied peacefully in the island nation, shortly after traditional weekly prayers on Friday, calling for the release of political prisoners. The Formula One Grand Prix is due to get underway Friday night in a three-day annual motor racing event that attracts thousands of visitors from throughout the world, descending on the track that is located in the desert region of Sakhir, south of the capital, Manama. Earlier this week Amnesty International released a report condemning Bahrain for what it said were human rights abuses, including torture, detentions, and excessive use of force against activists and government critics.
