ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The U.S. is committed to Lebanon's security, says Secretary of State John Kerry in a meeting with former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri in Washington, D.C., Wednesday (April 22). "We're anxious to see the presidency ultimately filled, and to try to see the effects of DASH and Nusra and Syria moved away from Lebanon, so that Lebanon can really have its sovereignty respected and its future protected and guaranteed," says Kerry. Lebanon has been without a president since May and has been plagued by violence and caught in political deadlock.
