ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Scores of elderly veterans living in Israel marched on Sunday (May 10) through Jerusalem's city center in full military uniform to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, drawing cheers and amazed looks from onlookers. The men, who had fought for various European armies during the war, were smiling and waving as they walked the sunny streets of Jerusalem. Israel usually observes the Nazi defeat on May 8, Victory in Europe day, as do most European countries.
