The world's largest Disney store opens its doors in Shangai. The 53,000 square foot store is the first Disney store in China ... And Mickey and Minnie fans are happily waiting their turn to browse row upon row of toys and Disney themed products. From stuffed animals, to toy phones and carry alls ... shoppers are excited to have their own piece of Disney. SOUNDBITE: 24-year-old Zhao Jieyu, Disney store shopper, saying (Mandarin): "This one is exactly the same as the one in Toy Story. It also has Andy's autograph on it. And it also has a pull-tab to make a sound, so it's fantastic." SOUNDBITE: 27-year-old Wu Jiani, Disney store shopper, saying (Mandarin): "It's better than I expected. There are lots of images showing details from fairy stories. I also heard they will have activities every hour, which I'm looking forward to. There's so much fun inside and I think it is worth a tour." The store is just the beginning of the entertainment giant's foray into the world's most populous nation. Shanghai is set to get its own Disneyland theme park in the Spring of 2016. The project is a $5.5 billion (USD) joint venture with China's state-owned Shanghai Shendi Group.
