NASA details the latest images of Pluto collected by its New Horizons mission. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) NASA revealed on Friday (July 24) the latest images of Pluto collected by its New Horizons mission. The images included what scientists described as the first image of the dwarf planet's atmosphere, which until now had only been known about with numbers. "This is our equivalent of the Apollo Earth rise photo that proved we were there," Alan Stern, principal investigator, told a news conference. The atmosphere is believed to be composed of haze layers.
