Rapper 'Future' takes top spot on Billboard album chart, OMI tops singles chart. Holly Rubenstein reports.
Atlanta rapper Future has topped the US Billboard 200 album chart for the first time, with his album 'DS2'. It's the third record for the 31-year-old and his first number one album. Pop star Taylor Swift's best-selling album of 2014 '1989' came in at number 2, having spent 38 weeks on the chart. 'Black Rose,' by hip-hop artist Tyrese fell to No. 3. It premiered at No. 1 last week, marking Tyrese's first chart-topper in his nearly two-decade long career. On the Hot 100 Singles Chart OMI's reggae hit 'Cheerleader' remains in the top spot for the third week in a row. The track has been a summer smash topping charts throughout Europe, the UK, Australia and Canada.
