U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says it's time to ''come to grips'' with the issue of gun reform. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Thursday called for action a day after the on-air, fatal shooting of two television journalists in Virginia. "It's time to come to really come to grips with this, it makes no sense that bipartisan legislation supporting universal background checks failed in Congress despite overwhelming support from the public," Clinton said. "I'm not going to sit by while more good people die," Clinton added. WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were shot and killed on live television during a reporting assignment.
