A Hungarian camerawoman is fired for allegedly tripping up migrants fleeing police in Hungary. Rough cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION A Hungarian camerawoman was reportedly fired from her job on Tuesday (September 8) amid allegations that she tripped up refugees as they fled from police in Hungary. A migrant carrying a child was photographed falling after apparently tripping on the camerawoman while trying to escape from a collection point in Roszke village. Hungary's N1TV, who she worked for, later issued a statement condemning the woman's alleged behaviour. Tens of thousands of migrants, many of them refugees from Syria's civil war, have been pouring into Hungary, an eastern outpost of Europe's passport-free 'Schengen area', seeing it as a springboard to wealthier western Europe, above all Germany.
