ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Vice President Joe Biden visited a fire station in New York City on Friday to honor the firefighters who were killed when the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center collapsed on September 11th, 2001. He appeared with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and singer Billy Joel at Rescue Company 1 in Manhattan. The unit lost nearly half its members on 9/11. "I almost wish it were raining today instead of as clear and as bright as it is today. Because when you go through this year after year, it doesn't matter if it's 14 years of if it's 40 years, it brings back memories as if they happened 5 years ago," Biden said. Following his remarks, Biden attended the kickoff for the 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride.
