Clinton then chastised Trump over an incident earlier this week. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DONALD TRUMP LISTENING AS AUDIENCE MEMBER SAYS: AUDIENCE MEMBER: We have a problem in this country, it's called Muslims. We know our current president is one, we know he isn't even an American." TRUMP: "We need this." [laughs] Clinton says the fact that Trump didn't correct the man was "shocking" but not "surprising". (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, HILLARY CLINTON, SAYING: "He's been trafficking in prejudice and paranoia throughout this campaign." But the billionaire TV personality took to Twitter to defend himself... ...saying it wasn't his responsibility to defend President Obama...and that it was a no win situation. But Clinton wasn't his only critic. Trump has also taken heat from members of his own party for not speaking up...and yet he continues to lead the pack of GOP candidates in the polls.
