ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) China's President Xi Jinping and first lady, Peng Liyuan, kicked off their U.S. tour on Tuesday (September 22), landing in Everett, Washington. They were greeted by local officials, including Washington state Governor Jay Inslee and Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Xi is scheduled to meet with U.S. tech titans and tour Boeing's biggest factory and Microsoft Corp's sprawling campus near Seattle this week. His visit will also include a black-tie state dinner at the White House hosted by President Barack Obama.
