ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he would get along with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and in turn, Putin would respect the United States. Speaking at a rally in Norfolk, Virginia, Trump said on Saturday (October 31), "he (Putin) has no respect for Hillary... no respect for President Obama. None. He will respect us. That's what we want. We're not looking for trouble." Under Putin, relations between Washington and Moscow have soured, with the two sides at loggerheads over the conflict in Ukraine, ways to end the crisis in Syria and human rights issues. The Russian leader has spoken often of the United States' and its allies encroaching into eastern Europe and threatening Russia's national security.
