Three contractors, two Americans and a South African, have been shot dead by a Jordanian policeman at a training facility on the outskirts of Amman. Rob Muir has more.
STORY: Jordanian government officials say the two Americans and a South African were shot dead at a police training facility east of the capital, Amman. Six others were wounded and rushed to hospital. The gunman was described as a senior co-trainer with the rank of captain. He was reportedly killed by Jordanian security forces. The US-funded facility on the outskirts of Amman is used to train Jordanian police. The attack came on the tenth anniversary of al Qaeda suicide bombings that targeted three Amman luxury hotels and killed dozens of people. The gunman's motives in this case are yet to be determined.
