Stranded migrants try to storm into Macedonia, as hope fades to move into northern Europe. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
Tensions on the border in Macedonia. Hundreds of Moroccans, Algerians and Pakistanis try to storm the border between Greece and Macedonia. They were among about 1,500 migrants who have been stranded after Europe deciding to filter migrants, allowing only those fleeing conflict in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq to cross into the Balkans. More than 800,000 refugees and migrants have arrived in Europe by sea so far this year -- but for many -- hope for a better life is fading, leaving them stranded on Europe's borders.
