Pop superstar Madonna performs to thousands of fans in London on the first of two nights of her 'Rebel Heart' tour in the British capital. Edward Baran reports.
She may be in her late fifties, but Madonna is still performing at the top of her game. She brought her 'Rebel Heart' tour to London on Tuesday, playing to thousands of fans on the first of two nights in the British capital. The show marked a return to the O2 Arena, the scene of her infamous stage fall at the Brit Awards in February. While some major artists have cancelled their European dates in the wake of last month's attacks in Paris - for Madonna the show goes on. And her fans love her for it. SOUNDBITE: MADONNA FAN, MARK, SAYING (English): "You can't let them stop you doing what you want to do. If she's still getting up on stage performing in these places, we can still be there to support her." SOUNDBITE: MADONNA FAN, LAURENT, SAYING (English): "I think security is important but I also believe, like Madonna believes, we can't stop here because otherwise you stop living." The next stops on the European leg of Madonna's tour include Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich and Manchester.
