''Hail, Caesar!'' by the Academy Award-winning director duo Joel and Ethan Coen will be the opening film of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. Sara Hemrajani reports.
The Coen brothers are returning to Berlin to kick off the 2016 film festival. Joel and Ethan are opening the Berlinale with an all-star comedy on Hollywood's Golden Age of cinema. "Hail, Caesar!" sees the likes of George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum play a range of over-the-top characters in the Los Angeles studio system. Berlin's festival director says the Oscar-winning pair are "guaranteed to thrill the audience" with their latest offering. The brothers are no strangers to film festivals and the German capital in particular. Their hits "The Big Lebowski" and "True Grit" screened at Berlin in previous years. The 2016 Berlin film festival will run from February 11 to 21, with Meryl Streep as jury president.
