Italy's volcano Mount Etna leaps into action, shooting bright red lava into the of Sicilian night sky. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The world's most active volcano on the Mediterranean island of Sicily has been putting on an impressive display over the last few days. The volcano has been largely dormant for the last two years and the recent eruptions have brought many volcano "tourists" out to spend the night on the side of the mountain to watch the show. Nearby, Catania's airport has only just reopened after being closed last week due to ash clouds causing security concerns. Etna, at 3,330 metres (10,926 feet) is the highest volcano in mainland Europe and the most active in the world.
