The red carpet is rolled out as the Beverly Hilton Hotel is transformed for 73rd Golden Globe Award ceremony on Sunday. Tania Willis reports.
The time has come for one of the biggest award ceremonies of the year. President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Lorenzo Soria, and this year's Miss Golden Globe, Corinne Foxx rolled out the red carpet which will be walked on by some of the biggest stars in film and TV at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. Last year's awards saw Amy Adams collect the accolade for best actress in a motion picture for her role in Big Eyes. Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne, who was named Miss Golden Globe this year, explained why she thought the prestigious ceremony has lasted so long. (SOUNDBITE) Miss Golden Globe, Corinne Foxx, saying (English): "I mean what's special about the show is that it's like a party, I mean they have tables, they have champagne, I mean there is just so much going on. It doesn't feel like a sit-down, traditional, you're going to sit and be stuck there kind of a feel. It's so much fun. I think that's why it's lasted so long, people love the atmosphere and the environment of it." The Golden Globe award winners will be announced in a televised ceremony hosted by Ricky Gervais which will take place on Sunday in Beverly Hills.
